Odindisa seeks to ethical preserves and enhances Swedish Vallhunds, contributing to the genetic base and guarding against extremes. Our breeding program isn’t only about preserving type or producing Champions. We raise healthy, well-tempered Vallhunds who thrive as companions, family dogs, and working partners.

With a focus on structure, temperament, and genetic health, families enjoy well-bred, true-to-standard Vallhunds while protecting the breed’s future. Every dog deserves to be bred with the same care, ethics, and dedication as if destined for the show ring.

Modern technology is embraced to ensure the highest standards of health and quality are upheld.

1. The dog's health is what YOU, the owner, will be living and dealing with. I want you to have a healthy dog that does not need numerous vet visits.

2. I can then focus on ensuring a great temperament. Careful selection of the parents ensures a great base temperament, which is enhanced by socialisation, Puppy Culture methods, and your input while raising your puppy.

3. Lastly, I can fine-tune conformation. The foundations of Odindisa are based on dogs that have attained Champion status in the discipline of conformation, demonstrating they meet the breed standard under the scrutiny of many judges.

Like SKV, Odindisa strives towards:

• Health and genetic variation

• Mentality: Lively and attentive (not hot). Bold and fearless (without a tendency to timidity or fear, not overly attached to the driver). Sansad (ability to relax between tasks).

• Usability: Interest in independent work (high initiative). Ability to concentrate (for individual tasks). Mobile and durable (can move freely in different gaits for a long time - not rough and clumsy). Herding law (interest in herding).

• Appealing exterior: Corresponding to a good or very good breeding result; EX, VG or G in quality assessment or Excellent type, Very good type and Good type in exterior description.
